Fenaro
About — Origin Notes

Formulation Standards. Jakarta, 2021.

Fenaro emerged from a gap in the Indonesian supplement market: the absence of accessible, independently verified documentation for natural men's vitamins and minerals. The operating principle was straightforward — every formulation decision should be traceable.

The observation that began Fenaro.

In 2020, a consistent finding emerged while examining the natural supplement market available to Indonesian men: documentation was either absent, inaccessible, or insufficient. Products marketed as precision formulations frequently could not provide batch-level certificates confirming what their labels claimed. Proprietary blend language was used to obscure individual ingredient concentrations.

The resolution that shaped Fenaro was not to produce the most complex supplement, but to produce supplements whose composition is entirely verifiable. This meant selecting a smaller number of well-documented active ingredients, establishing a sourcing protocol with chain-of-custody records, and contracting an independent laboratory for every production batch.

The first formulation was released in 2021 after six months of supplier qualification and laboratory calibration work. Since then, the range has expanded to three formulations — the Daily Complex, the Zinc & Magnesium Compound, and the Energy & Stamina Complex — each adhering to the same documentation standard.

"The standard was: if a batch cannot be traced to a third-party certificate, it does not leave the facility."

02 — Team Structure

The Fenaro team operates across three functional areas.

Area 01

Formulation & Sourcing

Responsible for ingredient specification, supplier qualification, and intake verification. Maintains the sourcing log and reviews certificates of origin for every raw material intake. Works directly with contracted independent laboratory on analytical protocols.

Area 02

Production & Quality

Manages the production schedule, batch coding, and capsule encapsulation process. Issues deviation reports when a batch falls outside the elemental profile specification. Coordinates sample dispatch to the external laboratory and archives results.

Area 03

Documentation & Compliance

Maintains the traceability archive: batch records, laboratory certificates, sourcing logs, and regulatory filings. Handles regulatory documentation for Indonesian food-supplement classification requirements and manages customer batch-record requests.

03 — Sourcing Ethos

Ingredient origin is not a marketing claim — it is a documented record.

Active ingredients are sourced from suppliers who provide certificates of origin with each intake. The certificate specifies the origin region, the composition profile of the raw material, and the batch number on the supplier side. This record is cross-referenced against the Fenaro batch code assigned at production.

Sourcing prioritises suppliers whose facilities maintain food-grade processing standards. Fenaro does not source from intermediaries who cannot provide primary documentation from the point of extraction or processing.

04 — Operating Principles

Four principles that define how Fenaro operates.

I

Documentation before distribution.

No batch enters the distribution chain without a complete documentation record: sourcing log, production batch code, elemental profile specification, and laboratory verification certificate.

II

No proprietary blends.

Every ingredient on the Fenaro label has a documented concentration range. Proprietary blend declarations, which allow manufacturers to conceal individual ingredient quantities, are not used in any Fenaro formulation.

III

Third-party results only.

Quality claims at Fenaro are based on results from contracted independent laboratories, not on internal testing alone. In-house quality checks are used as process controls, not as the basis for product release decisions.

IV

Open archive on request.

Any customer may request confirmation of batch verification for a purchased product. Laboratory result certificates are archived against batch codes and are provided in response to documented requests.
